Qualico’s Construction and Procedural Standards (CPS) training, first developed in Northern Alberta region, will graduate its first participants as the training expands to Southern Alberta and Manitoba.

Building on the success of its first two phases, Qualico Communities Calgary began construction on Phase 3 of its Dawson’s Landing community in Chestermere this spring. Development of the new phase comes as the first two are nearly sold out, with more than 200 home possessions completed so far.

The campaign, which runs from September 6 to 30, will invite Calgarians to raise $100,000, which will be doubled by matching donors Qualico Calgary and the Matt Rumpel Family Foundation. The matching donors have signed on to help BB4CK reach a total fundraising goal of $200,000.

Over the summer months, Qualico was collaborating with Ron Reimer on a feature story to recognize a milestone of service to the company. In 2022, Ron was in his 45th year of service to Qualico. Ron had been diagnosed and was battling ALS for the last couple of years and had to put on a brave face as he fought this terrible disease. Of course, in reading these words Ron shared just a few weeks ago and hearing the comments from the company’s leadership, this article takes on a whole new meaning. A private celebration of Ron's life was held with family and close personal friends on September 10, 2022.
