Pacesetter Homes Austin wins Charitable Project of the Year at MAX Awards
Austin, TX – Pacesetter Homes Austin received the Charitable Project of the Year award at this year’s Marketing & Advertising Excellence (MAX) Awards, held by the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin.
The MAX Awards recognize the best in local residential construction, development, sales achievement, and marketing.
Pacesetter Homes Austin won the award for the team’s work on a project called Joe’s House, completed in late 2024. The initiative was launched for Hope House, a non-profit organization in Liberty Hill that provides lifelong care and housing for children with profound, permanent disabilities.
Joe’s House provides a permanent home for eight individuals to live on campus, complete with a common area, individual bedrooms, a fully accessible washroom, and a large outdoor space with plenty of seating.
Parker Scott, Vice-President, Pacesetter Homes Austin, shared his thoughts on the company winning the Charity Project of the Year award for Joe’s House.
“This achievement is a testament to the hardworking nature of our team, and our commitment to building better cities by ensuring all in our community have access to housing,” he said.
“We are honoured to be recognized by others in our industry for our commitment to community engagement,” he said. “The partnership between Pacesetter Homes and Hope House is one example of that commitment. We actively seek partnerships with organizations that aid people in our community, and Hope House does just that.”

Lauren McClung, Marketing Manager, Pacesetter Homes Austin, said Joe’s House is a project that each member of the homebuilder’s team is passionate about, noting they have been a supporter of Hope House since 2023, when the non-profit organization was nominated and selected for a donation through Acts of Kindness, an employee-driven philanthropic program at Qualico.
“The need for expansion of their facilities to house more individuals became apparent as we began our partnership,” Lauren said. “The Pacesetter Homes team came alongside Hope House and led the construction efforts of Joe’s House. We had members of our construction team oversee the project from start to finish and create a high-quality, long-lasting home.”
The project has started to open doors to partnerships with additional organizations that have connected with Hope House, and Lauren said Pacesetter Homes is actively exploring those opportunities since the team feels a deep sense of connection to the community. As the needs of Hope House expand, Pacesetter Homes Austin will continue to support the non-profit organization’s work.
Winning the Charitable Project of the Year award is an achievement that strengthens Pacesetter Homes Austin’s commitment to future charitable organizations and partnerships and will help inspire additional opportunities to partner within the communities the company serves.
