Foxridge Homes BC serves up breathtaking views and unique homes at Timber’s Edge

Coquitlam, BC – Foxridge Homes BC is set to offer an exclusive collection of 19 new single-family homes on the edge of Burke Mountain, offering large floor plans and stunning views of the Fraser Valley.

Burke Mountain is one of Coquitlam’s fastest-growing areas and offers convenient access to top-rated schools, trail networks, parks, major highways, and retail and commercial amenities.

New lots at Timber's Edge in Coquitlam are now available for pre-sale

Timber’s Edge features three-to-nine-bedroom homes with unique mountainside floorplans, spacious yards, and Platinum Collection finishes from Foxridge Homes. Features include Café Appliances, hardwood flooring on the main level, a gas fireplace, and gas barbeque hook-ups.

Raina Cameron, Marketing & Communications Manager, Foxridge Homes BC, said every home at Timber’s Edge has its own “wow” factor.

“Our development is designed to provide spacious, grand homes that prioritize both quality and functionality,” she said. “From expansive basement suites with soaring 12-ft. ceiling heights to thoughtfully designed layouts that capture stunning parkland and mountain views, every detail is curated for an elevated living experience.”

Homeowners can select their ideal lot and customize their home with extensive options and upgrades, including a secondary suite option that can be used as a rental to help with the mortgage, or for in-laws and family members.

Building on the side of a mountain presents unique design challenges, said Nicholas Bell, Vice-President, Foxridge Homes BC.

“Topographical challenges have largely been overcome with a large faux-granite shotcrete retaining wall averaging 10-15 feet tall, and 12-foot-high basement ceilings,” he said. “Working with our designer, we’ve developed new house plans to maximize views, while also accommodating the new seismic structural engineering requirements that were adopted into the building code earlier this year.”

The homes are designed to meet BC Energy Step Code 4, making them 40% more energy efficient than those built under the 2018 BC Building Code. The BC Energy Step Code was established in 2017 to set performance requirements for energy efficiency in new home builds.

In addition to Timber’s Edge, Foxridge Homes BC is also offering new homes in the nearby Harper Peak collection and have been building homes in the Burke Mountain are for 13 years. Sandy Nijjer, Director of Sales and Marketing, Foxridge Homes BC, says that some new home buyers will be familiar faces.

“We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming many former Foxridge homeowners back to our sales centre, some of whom have already chosen to make Timber’s Edge their new home. This loyalty speaks volumes about the exceptional work of our sales, construction, and warranty teams, and the lasting impression a Foxridge home leaves on its residents,” Sandy said.

Aside from long-term customers, Foxridge Homes believes Timber’s Edge homes will appeal to families seeking an upscale living environment with connection to the natural beauty of the area.

“We expect to see families seeking a spacious and upscale living environment for their growing households,” said Raina. “These buyers value everything that the Burke Mountain community has to offer, catering to their active lifestyles and family-oriented priorities in a vibrant, inclusive community.”

Construction for Timber’s Edge homes is scheduled to start this month, with Foxridge Homes BC expecting to complete the final home in August 2026. The homes will provide an appealing option to buyers looking for that rare blend of mountain views and convenient amenities in a fast-growing and family-focused community.
