Summary of the Region
One of the fastest growing markets in the US
Qualico established Austin, Texas as the base of its US regional office. Today, Austin is one of the fastest growing markets in the US. Qualico has established single-family homebuilding, community development operations, and multi-family projects out of the US regional office. Qualico expanded into Dallas–Fort Worth in 2018.
Qualico is involved in a number of multi-family projects in key US markets where Qualico partners with a developer to introduce residential properties to prime locations. US multi-family projects are managed from the US regional office based in Austin.

Qualico is becoming a recognized force in the US real estate development community. I look forward to future opportunities to further the promotion of our brand in the regions in which we operate and invest.

A Brief History of the Qualico US Region
Qualico decided to set international roots in 2004, with expansion into US markets
Qualico established Austin, Texas as the home of its regional US offices, with expansion into Dallas–Fort Worth in 2018. Today, award-winning Pacesetter Homes operates in Austin as a single-family homebuilder alongside the Qualico Communities business unit. Qualico’s multi-family projects are also based out of the US regional office in Austin.
Within a decade of establishing itself in the US, Pacesetter Homes Austin made the Builder Magazine’s Top 100 Builders list and secured its place within the top 10 builders in the Greater Austin Area. The success in the US market led Qualico to grow its US presence with expansion into the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Charitable Partner: Helping a Hero
Giving back to veterans: Homes for Heroes
A charity that seeks to provide affordable mortgages to wounded veterans for quality homes, Helping A Hero relies on support and partnerships to sustain its work. Qualico made a donation that went towards helping pay the builders and trades that created a specially modified home for a veteran of the Iraq war and his family, who had recently lost their house in a fire.

Hill Country Artisan Homes Wins Best In Show At Austin Parade Of Homes
Leander, TX – On October 17, Hill Country Artisan Homes earned the title of Best in Show at the Austin Parade of Homes, along with awards for Best Outdoor Living, Best Pool, Best Master Bath, Best Formal Dining, and Best Fireplace.
The awards were announced at a VIP kickoff event, held at the Travisso Amenity Center in Leander, Texas, with over 250 guests in attendance, including realtors, builders, developers and suppliers. Other builders who participated in the competition included Vogel Homes, Glazier Homes and Aluxa Homes.
This was the first year that Hill Country Artisan Homes entered the Parade of Homes Awards, and Roy Edmiston, General Manager, Hill Country Artisan Homes, was extremely proud of the accolades that this beautiful home earned.
“The building of this year’s Parade of Homes entry was a highly coordinated team effort that brought out the best in our construction team and all of the vendors and suppliers that were involved in the project,” said Roy. “This impressive custom home was completed in slightly over eight months due to everyone’s great effort.”
The home itself features 5056 sq. ft. of living space and is situated on a beautiful hillside overlooking the community of Travisso.
“The judges felt that the home was ‘timeless,’” said Dennis Ciani, Marketing Manager, Pacesetter Homes. “Along with an incredible floor plan, the home features an impressive amount of detail work on the ceiling and in the tiling.”
The award-winning pool is particularly jaw-dropping, featuring a negative edge that leads to a 25-foot drop to the valley below.
Hill Country Artisan Homes is known for luxury, comfort and functionality, and its 2018 Austin Parade of Homes winner is a standout example of the homebuilder’s impressive ingenuity and attention to detail.
