One of the fastest growing markets in the US

Qualico established Austin, Texas as the base of its US regional office. Today, Austin is one of the fastest growing markets in the US. Qualico has established single-family homebuilding, community development operations, and multi-family projects out of the US regional office. Qualico expanded into Dallas–Fort Worth in 2018.

Qualico is involved in a number of multi-family projects in key US markets where Qualico partners with a developer to introduce residential properties to prime locations. US multi-family projects are managed from the US regional office based in Austin.

Qualico is becoming a recognized force in the US real estate development community. I look forward to future opportunities to further the promotion of our brand in the regions in which we operate and invest.

A Brief History of the Qualico US Region

Qualico decided to set international roots in 2004, with expansion into US markets

Qualico established Austin, Texas as the home of its regional US offices, with expansion into Dallas–Fort Worth in 2018. Today, award-winning Pacesetter Homes operates in Austin as a single-family homebuilder alongside the Qualico Communities business unit. Qualico’s multi-family projects are also based out of the US regional office in Austin.

Within a decade of establishing itself in the US, Pacesetter Homes Austin made the Builder Magazine’s Top 100 Builders list and secured its place within the top 10 builders in the Greater Austin Area. The success in the US market led Qualico to grow its US presence with expansion into the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Charitable Partner: Helping a Hero

Giving back to veterans: Homes for Heroes

A charity that seeks to provide affordable mortgages to wounded veterans for quality homes, Helping A Hero relies on support and partnerships to sustain its work. Qualico made a donation that went towards helping pay the builders and trades that created a specially modified home for a veteran of the Iraq war and his family, who had recently lost their house in a fire.

Qualico Communities Austin’s proposed Triada master-planned community received approval at last week’s Elgin City Council meeting. The approval provides the City of Elgin with a new community that has a key north-south arterial street and a 15-acre sports complex.

Many of the Qualico US Region’s multi-family projects involve joint-venture partnerships with other companies and ‘merchant building’, where apartments are constructed, leased up, and then sold, with funds invested into new projects. Pacesetter Homes Texas has once again earned a place on the Top 100 Builder List, a prestigious list that honors the most successful home builders across the United States. It marks their seventh year in a row among America’s top homebuilders, closing 793 homes in 2022.
