Shoreline Gateway is the second phase of a beachfront apartment high-rise community with panoramic ocean views located in downtown Long Beach, offering one of the most walkable locations in all of Southern California. The previous phase, The Current, was delivered in 2016 by Qualico and other partners.

The 35-storey building is the tallest in Long Beach, and Qualico and its partners completed it in 2021. This project delivered 315 luxury, market-rate apartments, and 6,500 sq. ft. of ground floor retail, fronting a 10,000-sq.-ft. plaza.

Shoreline Gateway is the first LEED-ND (Neighbourhood Design) project in the city and exhibits all the qualities of a sustainable living environment, offering fresh air intake, low-VOC materials, recycled content and myriad elements to enhance the living experience.

The property is located in the East Village Arts District – a hip, urban and rapidly changing neighbourhood with all of the elements for accelerated growth, including excellent walkability to the beach, the metro, desired amenities, and a growing job base.
