Sterling Homes Calgary Takes Home its Fifth Win at the CustomerInsight H.O.M.E. Awards
Calgary, AB – The 2020 H.O.M.E. Awards marks the fifth win for Sterling Homes Calgary as the Best Customer Experience: Calgary – Single Family – Large Volume. The award was presented at the H.O.M.E. Awards event on April 7, which was held online this year due to restrictions related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic (click here to watch the recorded livestream video). The Home Owner Mark of Excellence (H.O.M.E) was created by CustomerInsight and is based exclusively on the voice of the customer.

Continuing to Provide a Higher Education with the Expansion of SAIT'S Trades and Technology Complex – a Look Back at the Impact of Qualico's Support
Calgary, AB – For over 100 years, the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary has offered applied education focused on hands-on learning, research, and collaboration with industry partners. In 2010, Qualico helped SAIT create the Trades and Technology Complex. Along with nine other homebuilders in the region, Qualico provided a $1-million donation towards the new complex. The donation, made almost 10 years ago, is still affecting students daily, as it allowed for the growth required to increase the number of students attending the institute.

Calgary Staff Get Creative in Donation to Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids
Calgary, AB – In September of 2019, Calgary staff started a year-long partnership with Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids (BB4CK). Every month of the school year, a different business unit makes lunches for five schools, feeding over 200 students in need. BB4CK works in partnership with Calgary schools to make and deliver free healthy lunches for students who would otherwise go hungry. Every day there are 4,700 lunches made and delivered to Calgary kids at 225 schools, relying on 650 volunteers each week to make this happen. It is estimated that one in six Canadian children do not know where their next meal is coming from.

The Resolve Initiative Continues to Provide Safe Housing for Calgary's Homeless - a Look Back at the Impacts of Qualico's Donation
Calgary, AB – When people have a safe place to call home, they can focus on other areas of their lives and amazing things can happen. An initiative in Calgary aimed to make that a reality for 3,000 homeless and vulnerable people living in the city. The RESOLVE campaign was a limited-time fundraiser that officially ended in 2018, which involved nine not-for-profit agencies raising money for affordable housing and hundreds of donors, including Qualico.
