StreetSide Developments' Sage Village Offers New Perspective to Sage Creek in Winnipeg
Winnipeg, MB – Things are moving forward with Sage Creek’s first apartment-style condominiums, being built by StreetSide Developments Winnipeg. Site service installations are currently underway, with commercial and multi-family construction to begin this spring.
Sage Village by StreetSide is offering a new perspective to the burgeoning Sage Creek community with market condos designed to complement people’s everyday routine. Located on Sage Creek Boulevard, across from all of the amenities of Village Centre, the five-storey Sage Village condo building will have 73 two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 830 to 1,650 sq. ft.
The building will include desirable amenities such as underground parking, a large main-floor fitness center, an owner’s lounge with large bar top and big screen TV, and a private dining/meeting room area.
A variety of homebuyers are expected to be drawn to the building’s attractive, nature-based location, according to Margaux Braund, Marketing Coordinator, StreetSide Developments Winnipeg.

Paul Gray, Project Manager, StreetSide Developments Winnipeg, noted that the site is being developed in conjunction with the Qualico Properties division in Calgary to achieve a cohesive site plan and architectural design. Commercial retail units will be developed along Burning Glass Road, with the condo building set back further in the site to the east.
“Main-floor suites were designed with independent walk-up access, which is popular amongst many buyers and helps to activate the street level – an important element in a vibrant mixed-use area such as this,” he said. “Our amenity spaces were designed with a ‘commercial storefront’ appearance to assist in providing a subtle transition from the Village Centre to our residential development, and owners will have the opportunity to utilize a shared seating area located between the commercial and residential buildings.”
Sage Village is also designed with energy efficiency in mind. According to Paul, the StreetSide Developments team used energy modelling early in the building's design process to help identify opportunities for efficiency. In doing so, the modelling allowed the business unit to maximize the rebate that Efficiency Manitoba currently offers, plus additional incentives to offset the associated energy modelling fees.

These new apartment-style condos will bring more diversity for homeownership within the community, and StreetSide Developments is planning for a summer 2023 sales launch with first possessions anticipated late 2024.
