Sterling Homes Calgary Adds To Their Trophy Case After Winning Best Customer Experience Awards

Calgary, AB - For the second year in a row, Sterling Homes Group in Calgary was recognized for providing the best customer experience at the 11th Annual H.O.M.E. awards.

Winning in the category of single-family builder - +150 homes, Calgary & Area, this is the sixth time Sterling Calgary has won the award since it was established in 2010. The award is granted to homebuilders with the highest overall customer satisfaction in their area as voted by homebuyers.

While the award is a testament to the quality homes being built year after year, the reason for the recognition comes because of Sterling Calgary’s dedicated team.

“The award reaffirms Sterling’s success in enhancing people’s lives by bringing people together”, said Curt Keil, VP, Sterling Homes, Calgary. “This award takes the entire team to win including administration, sales, marketing, design, estimating, production, and our amazing construction team in building high quality homes in a tough environment along with our warranty team who proudly take care of our valued customers often for many years after the original possession date.”

The fact that the winner of the award is determined by customer feedback means a lot to Sterling’s team.

“Beyond providing customers with a personalized home, our core focus will always be to create an exceptional experience for our customers and this award, which is based on customer feedback, reaffirms that our entire team from start to finish has delivered on this commitment,” said Pamela Burns, Director, Sales and Marketing, Sterling Homes, Calgary.

In the past couple of years, Sterling Calgary has focused on their most relevant floorplans to provide their customers with what they want, added Pamela. This meant optimizing floorplans with more options, including spice kitchens, legal basement suites, secondary master bedrooms, and much more.

The flexibility of all their floorplans is demonstrated in Sterling’s Jade home model, which is a laned home offering three-five bedroom options and a central loft. The model also allows homebuyers to choose between a flex room on the main floor, or a full bedroom and bathroom and spice kitchen.

“This allows customers the ability to personalize their plan, rather than having to fully customize a plan,” said Pamela.

Like most industries, Homebuilders have faced some unique challenges that were caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, including price increases that were caused by global supply chain issues. However, partnering with homebuyers throughout the process is how Sterling Calgary has offered the best customer experience.

“Transparency and communication, educating our customers on the market that we are in, and continually keeping them informed with the best option possible is our commitment to Sterling customers,” said Mike Cole, Operations Manager, Sterling Home, Calgary.
