Leduc Truss Has Rebranded To Star Building Components

Leduc, AB – On June 1, after 13 years of operating as a part of Qualico, Leduc Truss has rebranded its name to Star Building Components, a Qualico Company.

“The new name and logo creates alignment with the Star Building Materials brand,” says Keith Tindall, General Manager of Star Building Components. “It reinforces the strength of Qualico and the supply network that we’re able to access through our parent company.”

While the name and logo have changed, Star Building Components has been a trusted and respected supplier throughout Northern Alberta since opening its doors in 1979.

Operating from its 22,000 square foot production facility, the company supplies roof and floor trusses, as well as engineered wood products for use on residential, multi-family, commercial and agricultural buildings.

The company will be announcing more innovative product offerings in the near future in order to better serve its customers.

In adopting the new brand, Star Building Components’ transformation will continue in the coming months. The company will be integrated into Qualico’s IT network, and its employees will benefit from IQ Workforce when it launches later this summer.

Star Building Components has also undergone a digital rebrand, with a new website under development and their new name and logo promoted on the company’s social media channels.

Star Building Components employee email addresses will now end with the domain “@starbuilding.ca”. Company operations will continue to be located at 4507 61^st Avenue in Leduc under new signage.
