Pacesetter Homes Texas Makes Top 100 Builder List for Eighth Year Running

Dallas-Fort Worth & Austin, TX – Pacesetter Homes Texas recently secured the 79th position on the prestigious Builder Magazine’s Builder 100 list, which recognizes the most successful homebuilders across the United States based on the number of yearly closings. Pacesetter Homes Texas has consistently demonstrated excellence, making it onto the list for the eighth consecutive year.

Tom Lynch, President and General Manager, Pacesetter Homes Austin, said his entire team is very proud and humbled by the recognition year after year.

“To have progressed to and achieved recognition on Builder 100 for eight consecutive years is a testament to the collective and focused efforts of our entire Pacesetter team, backed by Qualico’s unwavering commitment to sustainable and quality growth,” said Tom. “It is very rewarding for us to be recognized in such a prestigious way and it shows the team that their efforts are being recognized.”

Earning such recognition benefits Pacesetter Homes Dallas-Fort Worth in many different ways, according to Blake Friesenhahn, Vice-President, Pacesetter Homes Dallas-Fort Worth.

“Internally, it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishment with our team and validates the significant contribution that everyone has made for us to reach this achievement,” said Blake. “It also provides motivation to set goals in an effort to move up next year’s list. Externally, it draws the attention of suppliers, contractors, developers, financial institutions, and people seeking employment, which will benefit Pacesetter in our future growth.”

Blake said the Builder 100 achievement will be used on Pacesetter Homes Dallas-Fort Worth’s website and other marketing avenues to prospective buyers.

When it comes to what has led to Pacesetter Homes Texas’ consistent appearance on the Builder 100 list, Tom shared that his team is passionate about providing heartfelt service with a positive attitude to every customer who walks through the door. He also believes there are a few other factors at play.

“Pacesetter and Qualico have been collectively aggressive on land and finished lot acquisitions at quality locations, while focusing on innovative housing designs,” he said. “Understanding the scope of investment, we often offer multiple product lines in a single subdivision, thereby reaching an expanded buyer pool in each neighbourhood, which helps to sell more homes.”

According to Tom, Pacesetter has also established a solid and respected company presence in its chosen markets and has methodically expanded into additional growing submarkets over the years, which has consistently enhanced its ranking on the Builder 100 list.

Being a fundamentally sound company that has a desire to connect with its customers to truly understand their needs and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction is something Blake sees as a contributing factor to Pacesetter Homes Texas’ ongoing recognition on the Builder 100 list, among other things.

“It helps that Austin and Dallas have consistently been two of the top homebuilding markets in the US,” he noted. “As well, the leadership team within Qualico has provided the financial strength it takes to be a top 100 builder, and the environment and stability they provide positions us for success. Our team members’ dedication and effort, and a consistent approach to and focus on building the Pacesetter brand are also incredibly important.”

Being able to cope well with challenges such as development delays and material and labour shortages that have had a significant impact over the past several years has also helped Pacesetter Homes Texas stand out from the pack.

Looking towards the future, Blake said the Dallas-Fort Worth division has significant growth planned over the next several years and an opportunity to double its annual possessions from last year’s total.

“Part of that significant growth will occur in 2024 with the opening of eight new communities,” he said. “Many of these communities will open early enough to contribute possessions for the year and help the division grow by 20% or more over last year’s numbers.”

In Austin, Tom said seven new neighbourhoods will open in 2024 through mid-year 2025, which will contribute to the division’s ongoing growth initiatives.

“We will have opened a total of four new neighbourhoods this year that will contribute to next year’s position on the Builder 100 list,” he explained. “Those include Paramount in Kyle, Three Oaks in Seguin, Avery Center in Round Rock, and Grande Estates in Bertram.”

With clear plans in place to continue growing the business and serving more customers in Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth, Pacesetter Homes Texas is on track to keep producing top-of-market results in a very competitive environment and secure a spot on the Builder 100 list yet again.
