Streetside Developments BC Nears Completion of Juno Sales Centre and Scale Model

VANCOUVER, BC – StreetSide Developments BC is putting the finishing touches on the brand-new sales centre and scale model for its Juno development, located in the new Surrey City Centre just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, and minutes from some of Canada’s top universities and major public transportation routes.

Slated to be Qualico's first-ever high-rise condo tower, Juno will stand at 33 storeys with a 6-storey podium, offering panoramic rooftop views and the largest amenity space within a standalone community in Surrey, with 37,000+ sq. ft.

Jonathan Meads, Vice-President, StreetSide Developments BC, spoke to the importance of the Juno project for StreetSide Developments BC and Qualico as a whole.

“The launch of Juno is a milestone not only for StreetSide Developments BC, but also for Qualico, as we move into our first concrete high-rise residential project,” said Jonathan. “With the growth of the Vancouver region and the density occurring, we see this as the first of a future growth into high-rise projects as we evolve in step with the region’s growth.”

The Juno development will include 341 studio to three-bedroom lock‐off suites ranging from 374 to 1,294 sq. ft. The lock‐off suites are included in three-bedroom units that are divided into a two-bedroom home with a one-bedroom ‘lock‐off’ suite, which can be used as an in‐law suite or mortgage helper (similar concept to a basement suite in single-family homes).

All homes will have private outdoor balconies or terraces ranging from 32 to 888 sq. ft., energy‐efficient heat pump heating and cooling for year‐round comfort, and one of three designer colour schemes with an integrated stainless steel appliance package, including an induction cooktop.

The impressive scale model will be displayed in the brand-new sales centre, with an anticipated launch in early 2024. Nancy MacKinnon, Marketing Director, StreetSide Developments BC, said the sales centre will make a significant impact for Juno.

“As our flagship tower, we wanted our Juno sales centre to be memorable and stand out amongst our competition,” said Nancy. “At just over 6,000 sq. ft., with two full-sized display homes, a ‘light-up’ Arctura ceiling, 8-ft.-high scale model, and impressive welcome reception area, we feel we were able to do just that.”

Some of the tower’s amenities include a second-floor mezzanine with a lounge, co-working space, study pods, and meeting rooms overlooking the lobby. Other floors will have amenities such as a podcast room, a library, guest suites, a fully equipped gym and fitness area with infrared sauna, a games lounge complete with table tennis and air hockey, and a private dining hall with access to an outdoor terrace that will include a BBQ, lush gardens, and children’s play area.

Other outdoor amenities include an outdoor putting green, tranquil water feature, fire pit, harvest table, and lounge seating. The Sky Lounge on the 33^rd floor will feature breathtaking panoramic rooftop views of downtown Surrey, the North Shore mountains, Mt. Baker, and the ocean beyond. It will have an indoor cocktail lounge and wet bar, billiards room with foosball and pool table, and a theatre room/video game lounge.

Qualico's significant investment in Juno is a signal of the strength and confidence in the BC market and a showcase of the team's abilities. With the above-grade demolition now complete, and the sales centre and two display homes nearing completion, StreetSide Developments BC is expecting sales to commence early this year and for the project to be completed in fall of 2028.
