Qualico Introduces and Announces Senior Vice-President, Single Family Homes
Winnipeg, MB – Kevin Van, President & CEO, is pleased to announce that effective June 26, 2023, Alphonse Pilon, has joined Qualico as the Senior Vice-President, Single Family Homes.
The Senior Vice-President, Single Family Homes will report to Kevin Van, and will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of our single-family housing business units in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
This new role will facilitate the sharing of best practices among our single-family businesses with a focus on evaluating specific opportunities to increase our market share while enhancing operational performance through a variety of means ranging from technological advancements, enhanced customer service, leading-edge marketing and sales strategies and companywide purchasing programs.
Collaboration between this new Senior Vice-President position and the Regional Vice-Presidents for Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta will be paramount in successfully executing Qualico’s regional brand model.

It’s an important piece of our company’s legacy that has contributed to our success for over 70 years,” said Kevin. “This addition in leadership will help strategically position Qualico for the future and reflects our commitment to grow our single-family housing businesses in our regions.”
With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Alphonse has specialized experience in single-family home construction, operations, marketing and sales. His industry involvement includes holding the position of President of the Canadian Home Builders' Association – Edmonton region, board member for CHBA Edmonton & Alberta, board member of The Alberta New Home Warranty Program and Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta. His involvement with the industry is complemented by his involvement in the community as the Owner and Governor of the Sherwood Park Crusaders Hockey Club as well as a board member with the Kids with Cancer Society.
Alphonse’s career with Qualico started in 2000 when he was General Manager of Pacesetter Homes in Edmonton. In Alphonse’s time, he was able to grow Pacesetter Homes in Edmonton exponentially. With this success, he went on to start an award-winning homebuilding company before joining a highly reputable and family-owned Western Canadian real estate company where he advanced to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Alphonse will be based out of Qualico’s Northern Alberta Regional office.
