MONTEREY SQUARE SHOPPING CENTRE IS IN A PRIME LOCATION ALONG THE TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY, AND WAS RECENTLY RENOVATED TO BETTER SERVE THE TENANTS AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITY.
In 2016, Monterey Square had a major facelift. Details of the renovation include upgraded storefront and door system replacements, insulation and stucco replacement, repaired and modernized parapet features, and upgraded LED lighting fixtures for parking lot and exterior lighting.
During the four-month renovation, Rancho Realty (1975) Ltd., the property manager, worked with Qualico Commercial to ensure a high-level of communication with the tenants. Together, Rancho and Qualico Commercial ensured that no part of the property was out of operation for a long period of time.
The renovation assists with attracting high-end clientele and improving leasing. A fully leased centre brings more customers, which means more traffic for all tenants.
Monterey Square consists of 63,170 sq. ft. of rentable area on a 12.88-acre site, and has a number of major tenants, including two financial services companies, a fast-food restaurant, and a pet store.
