Pacesetter Homes Austin has introduced the unique property layout of QUADs to the Texas single-family homes market, where four homes are grouped together and share a common driveway. The back two homes face one street, and the front two homes face another street. Each plan features several rooms that look out onto a side courtyard, which brings in plenty of natural light.
The QUAD style of homes is offered only in Austin’s Easton Park neighbourhood because it requires the unique lot design.
Homeowners have the option of adding an apartment above the garage in the back, called an “auxiliary dwelling unit” (ADU), which helps them create a positive cash flow by having a lower overall mortgage payment should they choose to rent the apartment out.
