Qualico introduces and announces Senior Vice-President, Supply Chain

Winnipeg, MB – Kevin Van, President & CEO is pleased to announce the appointment of David Eggerman to Senior Vice-President, Supply Chain, effective June 1, 2026.

The creation of this new role reflects the continued growth and importance of Qualico’s supply chain vertical and the company’s long-term focus on strengthening its integrated delivery model.

Over the past five years, Qualico’s supply chain operations have become an increasingly meaningful contributor to the company’s overall success, creating greater opportunities to share best practices, strengthen customer relationships, improve buying power, and streamline operational delivery across the business.

“Our supply chain vertical is a key component of Qualico’s strategy of owning and controlling critical parts of the homebuilding and commercial development process,” said Kevin.

“This change is another important step in Qualico’s evolution. As we grow, we will continue to adjust our delivery model to meet changing market, consumer, technology, and industry demands, with a long-term focus on positioning the company for future success.”

In this new role, David will oversee Qualico’s supply chain companies – Star Building Materials, Star Plumbing and Mechanical, WM Schmidt, The Floor Show, Cornerstone Kitchens & Closets, Empire Envelope, and GDI – that provide products and services to Qualico’s internal homebuilding and commercial development business units, as well as external builders and developers.

David will help guide the strategic direction of the supply chain vertical, strengthen collaboration across business units, and support the sharing of best practices to maximize value across the company. He moves into the role from his current position as Regional Vice-President, Manitoba & Saskatchewan, bringing extensive operational experience, strong financial acumen, and a broad understanding of how Qualico’s verticals work together to support the company’s success.

After joining Qualico in 2009 as Regional Controller, David was appointed Regional Vice-President in 2020. Over the past six years, he helped lead business development initiatives that established Pacesetter builders in Saskatchewan and expanded supply chain operations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.

“David’s experience as a Regional Vice-President positions him well for this role,” said Kevin. “He understands how each vertical contributes to Qualico’s success and brings the strategic mindset, financial expertise, and passion for continuous improvement needed to help drive collaboration, efficiency, and growth.”

Looking ahead, David said he is focused on building strong partnerships across the vertical and creating value for builder partners across the company.

“Qualico’s supply chain vertical plays an important role in supporting our builder partners and strengthening our integrated model,” said David. “I’m looking forward to working with teams across the regions to build strong relationships, share best practices, and create win-win outcomes for our business units.”

“There is also a real opportunity to grow the vertical in ways that add value for our builder partners by helping ensure product availability, improving service and pricing, and supporting innovation that can simplify the build process, shorten build cycles, improve quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.”

While the creation of this role reflects the continued growth of Qualico’s supply chain vertical, it also highlights the important role Regional Vice-Presidents play across the organization, each of whom is essential to advancing regional performance, strengthening collaboration, and helping connect local priorities to Qualico’s broader strategy.

Effective June 1, 2026, Bryan Ward will assume the role of Regional Vice-President, Manitoba & Saskatchewan. Bryan steps into the role from his current position as Vice-President, Qualico Communities Winnipeg, and will continue to serve in a dual capacity as Regional Vice-President, Manitoba & Saskatchewan and Vice-President, Qualico Communities Winnipeg.
