Bryan Ward appointed to Regional Vice-President, Manitoba & Saskatchewan
Winnipeg, MB – Kevin Van, President & CEO, Qualico, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan Ward to Regional Vice-President, Manitoba & Saskatchewan, effective June 1, 2026.
Bryan steps into the role from his current position as Vice-President, Qualico Communities Winnipeg, and will continue to serve in a dual capacity as Regional Vice-President, Manitoba & Saskatchewan and Vice-President, Qualico Communities Winnipeg.
Since joining Qualico Communities in Winnipeg as Senior Manager of Planning in 2017, Bryan has played an important role in the business’ growth and success in the region. He was named General Manager of Qualico Communities Winnipeg in 2019 and began his role as Vice-President, Qualico Communities Winnipeg, the following year.
Prior to joining Qualico, Bryan spent more than a decade as a professional planner in Manitoba, working with the provincial government, the City of Winnipeg, and WSP Canada on a wide range of land use and development projects. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University.
“Bryan has been integral to our success in Winnipeg over the past several years,” said Kevin. “He brings strong political, business, and community relationships, a deep understanding of our integrated real estate model, and a highly collaborative approach. He has also established strong working relationships with our builder groups in Winnipeg, which will continue to be an asset in this new role.”
As Regional Vice-President, Bryan will help lead the strategic direction for Qualico in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. His responsibilities will include supporting the region’s business units, helping position the company for short- and long-term opportunities, fostering external stakeholder relationships, overseeing Communities operations in the region, advocating for employees, and helping protect and enhance Qualico’s reputation in the marketplace.
Bryan says he is looking forward to the opportunity to support continued success across the region while building on the strong foundation already in place.
“I’m looking forward to taking on new challenges and opportunities, learning more about other business units across Qualico, and working alongside an amazing team of leaders and staff to continue the success of Qualico,” said Bryan.
“I’m proud of how we’ve grown the relationships between Qualico Communities and our internal building partners and how we collaborate to bring new products to our market and communities. Supporting all of our regional business units in achieving their goals will be a key priority of mine as we continue to create neighbourhoods, communities, homes, and rental properties that people work hard, choose, or aspire to live and work in.”
In addition to his work at Qualico, Bryan serves as Director and current Board Chair of Habitat for Humanity Manitoba and as Director of the Urban Development Institute of Manitoba.
“We’re excited to have Bryan take on this role and continue the growth trajectory of Qualico in the Manitoba and Saskatchewan region,” said Kevin.
