The Floor Show unveils modern look with new service offerings

Winnipeg, MB – The Floor Show has unveiled a fresh brand identity as part of a rebrand to reflect current design trends and stand out as a leader in the flooring market.

At the time of the original logo’s creation more than 25 years ago, The Floor Show’s primary business goals were to provide flooring sales and installation services to Qualico’s single-family builders in Winnipeg.

Since then, The Floor Show has moved into a much larger location and has expanded their operations into many different market segments. They serve customers in Winnipeg and all surrounding areas, including northwestern Ontario, catering to a diverse range that encompasses single-family and multi-family new home builders, heavy commercial flooring applications, retail customers, custom home builders, renovators, insurance claims, and property managers.

“The original Floor Show logo was created back in 1998 when The Floor Show started in a small location with approximately eight to 10 employees,” said Dan Schille, Vice-President, The Floor Show. “We felt that our logo was dated and needed a refresh to stay current and provide a fresh look to properly encapsulate our business unit.”

The new logo provides a clean and modern look, emphasizing a bold aesthetic. It employs a contemporary font choice that is both readable and impactful. Utilizing a two-tone colour palette—combining a vibrant green with a deeper slate green—adds visual interest and balance. The alternating colours highlight the different components of the name, making it memorable and visually engaging.

“We have a very strong market presence and didn’t want to take away from that with a full-out name change,” Dan explained. “So, we decided that a simple, fresh approach to our logo was necessary and will allow us to effectively build on our success with a new look.”

In addition to the rebrand, The Floor Show is making changes to its service offerings this year by introducing a window covering division and an inventory showroom.

The inventory showroom is not open to the public like a retail store. Instead, it serves as a private space where clients and contractors can receive guided tours of the products through personalized, one-on-one consultations.

The window covering division has already launched and will serve only Qualico homebuilders to start, while the inventory showroom opened for appointments only in June.

“It’s exciting. We will now be able to offer the same great service we currently provide with our flooring operations in the window covering market,” said Dan. “The inventory showroom  provides a space that allows us to take a more hands-on approach, offering a custom experience where we can walk customers through our products and help them make informed choices that fit their specific goals.”

The Floor Show’s new modern look and expanded offerings reinforce their market leadership and commitment to exceptional service and quality, blending their strong heritage with forward-thinking innovation.
