Winnipeg, MB – StreetSide Winnipeg is adding a new housing option in Sage Creek this fall, with 28 two-storey townhomes designed to give buyers more room to grow without the exterior upkeep of a traditional single-family home.

Solana, located on Gypsum Drive, will feature 1,368-sq.-ft. homes with three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, detached single garages, and private backyards. Pre-sales are expected to launch in late October or early November, with pricing anticipated to be under $500,000.

The project follows strong buyer interest in similar StreetSide homes.

“We’ve seen a strong interest in this style of townhome (two-storey, 3 bedroom), with similar offerings selling out in communities Flora Townhomes in Sage Creek and Couture West Condominiums in Ridgewood West,” said Margaux Braund, Marketing Manager, StreetSide Winnipeg. “That response demonstrated a demand for a home that offers the space and features many buyers want, with less exterior upkeep than a traditional single-family home.”

Room to grow

Solana is intended to meet the needs of buyers at several stages of life, from first-time homeowners and young families to professionals and downsizers.

Its two-storey layout separates the main living areas from the bedrooms, while the unfinished lower level gives homeowners the option to add more space later. Buyers can choose basement development to accommodate a fourth bedroom, full bathroom and wetbar.

The location adds another part of Solana’s appeal.

Sage Creek combines nearby services and schools with pathways and trails throughout the community. École Mazina-Giizhik, a French Immersion school, is just steps from the development, while Sage Creek’s Village Centre provides access to shops, services, and other everyday conveniences.
