StreetSide Edmonton named Multi-Family Builder of the Year for third consecutive year at 2026 BILD Awards

Edmonton, AB – StreetSide Edmonton earned Builder of the Year – Multi-Family for the third consecutive year at the 2026 BILD Edmonton Metro Awards of Excellence in Housing.

The team secured nine awards, the highest among builders at this year’s event, and was once again recognized for Most Home Sales, reinforcing its strong connection with homebuyers across the Edmonton region.

Held March 14 at the Edmonton Convention Centre, the annual awards brought together more than 1,400 industry professionals to celebrate excellence in design, innovation, and customer experience.

StreetSide’s success spanned multiple townhouse and duplex categories, reflecting a strategy focused on delivering differentiated home designs that resonate with today’s buyers while maintaining strong sales performance across price segments.

“By challenging some of the commonly accepted plans and practices in the creation of new homes, we’ve developed products that perform strongly in the market and stand out when judged against the best in the industry,” said Nicholas Carels, Vice-President, StreetSide Edmonton. “Being unconventional with our plans delivers results for both our customers and on the awards stage.”

This sustained performance is driven by a consistent, experienced team, many of whom have been with StreetSide for years. This foundation allows the team to continue refining its home offerings.

“We have a high number of long-tenured team members, which allows us to stay focused on the fundamentals while continuing to evolve,” said Nicholas.

At the individual level, StreetSide’s success was further reflected in its sales team. Area Sales Manager, Tricia Urick, became the first two-time recipient of both Single-Family and Multi-Family Salesperson/ Team of the Year awards, highlighting both individual excellence and the strength of StreetSide’s sales organization. Other Area Sales Managers were also recognized for sales volume performance, underscoring the consistency of the team.

“Being recognized in both categories means a lot, especially surrounded by so much talent in this industry,” said Tricia. “It’s a reminder to trust your vision, stay consistent, and keep pushing forward. I’m grateful for the clients and team who trust me every day.”

For StreetSide, the strongest measure of success remains the trust of its customers.
