StreetSide and Pacesetter Homes win at BILD Alberta Awards
Banff, AB – Two of Qualico’s Edmonton-based homebuilders are celebrating milestone achievements after earning accolades at the 2025 BILD Alberta Awards. Pacesetter Homes Edmonton took home the Best Multi-family 1,200–1,400 sq. ft. award for its Bryce model, while StreetSide Edmonton was recognized in the Best Multi-family 1,400–1,600 sq. ft. category for its thoughtfully designed Madelyn II model.
Pacesetter Homes Edmonton’s Bryce model in Copperhaven is a testament to the company’s commitment to merging bold architectural design with practical functionality. Its Nordic-inspired exterior, featuring clean, modern lines and minimalist elegance, sets it apart in the competitive multi-family category. But the design brilliance doesn’t stop at the façade.

Inside, the Bryce offers a groundbreaking three-story layout that adapts seamlessly to diverse lifestyles. Each of the three bedrooms boasts its own full ensuite bathroom—a convenient and rare feature in this price and size category. The main floor includes a private bedroom and an ensuite, and the top floor includes two additional bedrooms, each ensuring privacy and comfort. Meanwhile, the expansive second level connects an airy, open-concept living area with a central kitchen hub, built for daily living and entertaining alike.
“This model is a game-changer for the market,” said Dave Armstrong, Vice-President, Pacesetter Homes Edmonton. “We recognized the evolving needs of our buyers and responded with a home that offers smart design, efficiency, and unmatched value. The Bryce exemplifies our team’s dedication to forward-thinking design while meeting real-world homeowner demands.”
Inspired by the growing need for affordability and flexibility, the Bryce is more than just a collection of innovative design elements—it’s a home built for the future.

StreetSide Edmonton was honoured for the Madelyn II, a model that blends form, function, and livability. Designed in collaboration with the team at designQ Edmonton, the home showcases modern-day family living. Vanessa Freeman, Director of Sales & Marketing, StreetSide Edmonton, credits the win to the model’s unmatched attention to detail.
“Every element of the Madelyn II was carefully curated to balance elegance and comfort,” said Vanessa. “From designer touches like board-and-batten accent walls and contrasting cabinetry to oversized windows that flood the space with natural light, this is a home where functionality and beauty coexist seamlessly.”
The 1,500 sq. ft. floor plan maximizes every square inch, with standout features like a central kitchen island, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and multi-use spaces such as a den for remote work or personal hobbies. The neutral color palette and warm wood tones create a timeless aesthetic that remains inviting for all buyer demographics.

The feedback from buyers has been overwhelmingly positive, said Vanessa.
“Homeowners have shared that the Madelyn II strikes the perfect balance between modern sophistication and everyday comfort. This recognition solidifies our role as innovators in the multi-family housing market.”
Both award-winning projects owe much of their success to the collaborative effort behind the scenes. Pacesetter Homes’ Bryce model is named after Bryce Stabel, Senior Architectural Technologist, Pacesetter Homes Edmonton, whose vision for the distinctive Nordic-inspired design shaped the project’s bold aesthetic.
“This was a true team effort,” said Dave. “From ideation to execution, every department had a hand in making the Bryce a standout.”
Similarly, the Madelyn II owed its success to a creative partnership between StreetSide Edmonton and designQ.
“The team at designQ, led by Madison, flawlessly brought our vision to life,” said Vanessa.
Madison Casson, Senior Designer, designQ Edmonton, echoed the same sentiments for the partnership and award winners.
“We are so proud to partner with Qualico’s builders, and this recognition is well-deserved by both the StreetSide and Pacesetter Home teams,” Madison said.
As the homebuilding industry in Edmonton continues to innovate, these award-winning models demonstrate that the Qualico legacy of thoughtful, forward-thinking designs. With the Bryce and the Madelyn II, Qualico’s builders are setting a clear path for what’s next in multi-family living.
