Sterling Homes Edmonton Donates A House For Habitat Day
Fort Saskatchewan, AB – On August 30, Janelle and her children received the keys to their brand new home as part of Habitat Day, a special gift from Sterling Homes.
Brent Bommes, General Manager of Sterling Homes Edmonton, presented the keys at a dedication ceremony hosted at the home on Santana Crescent in Fort Saskatchewan. Also present were Jessica Littlewood the MLA for Fort Saskatchewan and Vegreville and Gordon Harris,
deputy mayor.
“Habitat is a cause near to our hearts and to be able to make a difference for a deserving family is what it’s all about,” said Brent.
Habitat Day began in 2010 in the Capital Region. Over the past eight years, many home builders and developers have collaborated to create $8 million in assets that have gone towards affordable home ownership. Each year, various builders step up to show
their support by donating one of their properties to the Habitat Edmonton program. This year, Sterling Homes took their turn.
Janelle and her boys were excited to have the keys to their new home.
“We promise to take pride in this home and continue to make memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks again to Sterling Homes and to Qualico and to Habitat for making our dreams come true,” said Janelle.
