Calgary, AB – Star Building Materials Calgary is proud to announce that the new distribution yard is open and staff have relocated to a more than 12-acre property near Calgary’s Stoney Trail. 

“We are excited to introduce the expansion of Calgary’s North Star along with Canada’s first automated EWP saw by Sawtek,” said Vice-President of Star Building Materials Calgary, Ken Crockett. “This expansion allows Star to continue growing and diversifying our business while giving our staff a modern and spacious work environment.  We are looking forward to introducing the Sawtek technology to the builders of Calgary.”  

The main store, including the truss plant, main office, customer service yard and door shop will remain at the current location at 2345 Alyth Road SE in Calgary.
