Winnipeg, MB – Each day in Winnipeg, the city’s most vulnerable populations can struggle to access basic things like food, clothing, and shelter. Main Street Project, a local non-profit organization, aims to provide a range of services to these residents, including emergency shelter and nutrition services, drug and alcohol detoxification, health advocacy and support, and counselling and housing support services.

QUALICO HOPS BACK ON THE BIKE IN SUPPORT OF JDRF AND JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH

Winnipeg, MB – On November 12, Qualico Clockwork Angels hopped back on the bike for the Sun Life Ride to defeat diabetes in support of JDRF. This year, Qualico sent two teams to take part in the stationary cycling fundraiser held at the Shark Club Sports Bar in downtown Winnipeg. The Qualico Pedal Pushers joined in and together the two teams raised $3,150 for juvenile diabetes research.

The hospital’s emergency department was originally built to accommodate around 25,000 visits per year.

RIDE THROUGH THE ROCKIES RAISES FUNDS FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY SOUTHERN ALBERTA

Calgary, AB – Ride through the Rockies took place August 23-25, 2019, raising funds and heart rates with a grueling cycling trek – all in the name of helping Habitat for Humanity. In total, $115,330 was raised for Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta.

The RESOLVE campaign was a limited-time fundraiser that officially ended in 2018, which involved nine not-for-profit agencies raising money for affordable housing and hundreds of donors, including Qualico.
