StreetSide BC Announces New Condo Development Coming to Vancouver

Vancouver, BC –StreetSide Developments BC has that announced a new six-storey condominium project, called Bailey, is slated for construction in Vancouver’s bustling Little Mountain community. Located in a prime location close to Queen Elizabeth Park and Main Street, the project marks the multi-family homebuilder’s first major foray into the Vancouver market.

“We are excited to make a bold statement in the Vancouver market,” said Nancy MacKinnon, Marketing Director, StreetSide Developments BC. “Backed by Qualico’s high design standards and StreetSide’s proven track record in other regions in BC’s Lower Mainland, we’re ready to deliver something truly unique and special to this wonderful part of Vancouver.”

Located on Quebec St at 33rd Ave, the new 61-unit low-rise development will feature floorplans that range from studios to three-bedroom + flex homes, ranging in size from 452 to 1,098 sq. ft. The three-bedroom + flex home units will allow residents to convert a large integrated storage area into a den or walk-in pantry.

Each unit will feature open-concept floor plans, vinyl plank flooring, integrated appliances, large triple-glazed windows, and spacious balconies.

The condominium project is expected to attract first-time homebuyers, downsizers and those looking to experience Vancouver’s wealth of cultural offerings, Bailey’s stylish wood-frame design will blend in beautifully with the neighbourhood and provide a unique housing option unlike anything else available in the community.

Designed as a ‘little community within one building’, the pet-friendly residence is purpose-built to foster a neighbourly atmosphere, with a wide range of shared amenities including an outdoor patio and barbeque area, children’s play zone, co-working space, party room, dog-washing station, and bike repair station.

To meet the needs of online shoppers, the building will also feature a parcel delivery service in the lobby to allow for convenient and safe delivery of purchases.

Bailey will also appeal to residents looking for an energy-efficient home, with the development aspiring to achieve one of the highest energy-efficient targets possible.

The building is designed for superior energy performance, with advanced heating and cooling systems and dedicated heat recovery ventilation (HRV) units in every suite. Heat pump hot water tanks, a green roof and an advanced eco-friendly rainwater collection system further contribute to a design that is both climate-friendly and forward-thinking.

Other sustainable amenities in the development will include a bike storage area, electric bicycle charging ports and EV-ready parking spaces for those with electric vehicles.

Situated near transit and the SkyTrain line, the Bailey will offer excellent access to downtown Vancouver and the International Airport. It is also well connected to the city’s renowned active transportation network in a mature neighbourhood that includes interconnected bike paths and pedestrian-friendly walkways.

A short walk to Nat Bailey Stadium, home of the Vancouver Canadians, residents can take in a professional baseball game or explore several parks in the Little Mountain area. The community offers an abundance of schools and several attractions including Hillcrest Aquatics Centre, Vancouver Racquets Club, and ample greenspace complete with breathtaking views of the city.

“Whether you want to experience the vibrant nightlife, discover an eclectic assortment of unique shops, restaurants or cafes, or simply hang out in a world-class park with incredible views of the city, Bailey’s ideal location offers something for everyone,” Nancy said.

Pre-sales for Bailey will begin in early 2023, with construction expected to begin later next year. Sign up at liveatbailey.ca to register and stay informed on future updates.
