Edmonton, AB – Homebuilders are set to start construction this spring and are now pre-selling homes in Point at Glenridding Ravine, one of southwest Edmonton’s newest communities.

Point at Glenridding Ravine LogoLocated at Glenridding Ravine Road SW and Rabbit Hill Road SW, Qualico Communities Edmonton’s latest development encompasses just over 30 acres of land and will have 166 homes once completed.

Point at Glenridding Ravine will allow Qualico Communities Edmonton to maintain a strong presence in the fast-growing southwest area as Langdale – one of the business unit’s other southwest communities – nears completion. Qualico Communities Edmonton expects the lots in the fast-selling Point at Glenridding Ravine community to be fully absorbed within the next year.

The builder group in Point at Glenridding Ravine consists of Pacesetter Homes, Park Royal Homes, and Sterling Homes, and Home Styles in the community will include Single-Family Front Attached Garage and Single-Family Rear Lane Homes. The community will also feature lots that back out onto an environmental reserve.

Homebuyers will find there are several benefits to purchasing a home in the new community, according to Emily Stamper, Marketing Coordinator, Qualico Communities Edmonton.

Just across the street on Rabbit Hill Road is the Alliance Centre – Glenridding. This commercial space includes a gas station, convenience store, pharmacy, dental clinic, daycare, meat shop, salon and spa, and physiotherapy office, to name a few amenities.

The Currents of Windermere commercial centre and Heritage Valley are a short drive from the community, with a wide selection of shops, services, restaurants, and entertainment available. Residents can also access multiple driving ranges and golf courses, including the nearby Jägare Ridge Golf Club.

Anthony Henday Drive is close by, offering an easy commute to all areas of the city and surrounding areas, and the Heritage Valley Transit Centre is a five-minute drive away, providing easy access to public transportation.

While the area is booming and offers plenty of conveniences, nature is prevalent here as well, with the community bordered by the scenic Whitemud Creek Ravine.

“This is a prime location in the expanding southwest and a great place to establish roots,” said Emily. “There is a multitude of options available for homebuyers at every stage of life, including first home, upgrading, and downsizing, and there are many amenities and services available in the area.”
